Southern Tier Solar Works

Simple. Affordable. Solar.

We are a community based non-profit working with local volunteers to make the Southern Tier of NY healthier and more sustainable. Our primary focus is renewable energy. We help residents and small business owners go solar. In order to accomplish this, we’ve partnered with two excellent installers to streamline the process of going solar. We work together to help you maximize government and state benefits so that solar becomes very affordable. Declare your energy independence today!

Join us in calling on the Public Service Commission and Governor Cuomo to “Make REV R.E.A.L. – Renewable, Equitable, Accountable and Local.”

Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) is a major overhaul of the state’s energy policy led by Govenor Cuomo and the New York Public Service Commission. Public hearings on REV are in progress right now, and this is your chance to speak your energy vision for your household, your business, your community, and your state.

There are many ways to submit a comment on the Reforming the Energy Vision (REV) proceeding. If you can, we encourage coming to a public hearing and giving testimony in person. You can also submit a comment in writing by using this link
